Prepared by Leading Learners
Overview & Purpose
At any time of the school year, students can always use a little pick-me-up. This lesson allows students to reflect on what they hear which makes them happy, and learning selflessness by providing it to other students in the classroom.
Materials Needed:
Coloured sticky notes
Sharpies
or black felts
(Optional) Small basket
Instructions:
Explain to students the significance of positivity in everyday life.
Provide each students with 5 sticky notes.
Distribute Sharpies
or black felts.
Have students write 5 positive messages on their given sticky notes.
Visit each table, allowing students to pick 5 sticky notes from the basket. (If no basket at disposal, allow students to hand to peer from across their desks).
Have students paste these notes in either the classroom walls or their homes.
