Does High School Matter In The Long-Term?
High school can play a large role in supporting youths’ development. It’s a place where children grow into young adults.
High school teaches skills and life lessons like, time management, social skills, to try new things, to challenge yourself, and most importantly have fun!
These skills set people up for success in the long-term because they are the fundamentals of success.
High school essentially prepares youth for the real world, by providing them with opportunities to learn skills which will help them post graduation in post secondary or at their workplace. Which is why most workplaces and post-secondary institutions require that you graduate before joining the workforce.
Therefore, not obtaining a graduation diploma will decrease your chances of landing a job at large companies.
Which is why high school impacts everyone in the long-term.
